On arrival day your airport representative will be waiting at Tribhuvan International Airport to Pick you up and welcome you. After that, you will transfer to the hotel in an official vehicle. Accommodations are set as per you’re requirements take a shower, rest, and if you need short Sightseeing after taking a short rest then we recommend visiting the world heritage sites Boudhanath Stupa, Sawoyambu (Monkey temple), Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Basantapur Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, and so on might be perfect for peace and relaxation. Today is you’re climbing gear and equipment preparation and checking day. At first you have to pack you’re all the gears that you need during your climbing. The beautiful morning starts in the Kathmandu valley, after having breakfast you will depart from the hotel for you are Everest base camp trek. First, you will drive by jeep from Kathmandu to Ramechhap which takes you around 5 to 6 hours on the jeep, and then the same day you take a flight to Lukla and trek to Phakding where you spend the night.

The beautiful morning with a clear sky starts at Phakding which is situated at an elevation of 2,610 meters. You will have breakfast in the lodge and then start your day two trek towards Namche Bazar, the gateway of the Everest region.

trail from Phakding towards Namche Bazar takes you alongside the beautiful river of Dhudkoshi. Along the way, there are numerous waterfalls and suspension bridges with clear blue sky and the rising torrent of Dhudkoshi down below with a picturesque landscape surrounding you. After trekking for a while you enter Sagarmatha National Park which ranges an altitude from 2,845 to 8,848.86 meters to the top of Mt. Everest here you need entry permit verification in the Everest region.

After trekking for around 5 to 6 hours from Phakding total of 12 km, you reach the lovely Namche Bazar town also known as the Thamel of Everest region. It is located at an elevation of 3,440 meters. You are overnight stay will be here at Namche Bazar.

Today yoou trek up to Dole for overnight stay. To reach Dole it takes you approximately 6 to 7 hours hike. The trail is totally straight from Namche Bazaar to Kyangjuma in-between this trek you will amaze by seeing the picturesque village along with the stunning views of snow-capped beautiful Thamserku, Amadablam, Everest, and Lhotse. After that the trails leads you steep uphill climb to Mong La which is lunch point. A very appealing place hanging on the spur of Mt. Khumbila. A medieval historical chorten stands at the centre of the settlement of Mong La, where you spends some moments for lunch by looking nearby breath-taking mountains views.

After long hours of hike you finally reach at Dole where you finds the small teahouse and villages spends tonight.

Today’s trek is relatively short but still rewarding. You begin with a steady climb out of the quiet Dole Village, then follow a gentler ascent along the Dudhkoshi Valley, tracing a path high above the river. The trail is easy going, yet the altitude makes even the smallest rise feel like a challenge. Around us, the landscapes shifts into stark alpine terrain-bare and windswept, dotted only with hardy scrub juniper. Against this muted backdrop, the brilliant white peaks and deep blue skies out in dramatic contrast.

After about two hours of walking, you will reach the small settlement of Luza at an elevation 4,360 meters. From there, it’s another hours to reach at lodge in Machhermo (4,470m), where you will settle in for the evening. After lunch, there’s an optional trip across the rocky moraines to the base of Kyajo Ri (6,168m) and Machhermo Peak (6,073m) a great opportunity to stretch your legs and soak in the altitude scenery. And keep your eyes peeled-this area has its own legend. Back in 1974, locals reported a strange encounter; three yaks were found dead and a young Sherpa girl was injured after a run-in with a mysterious, hairy creature. Some say it was the elusive Yeti; others suspect a hungry bear. Either way, it adds a touch of mystery to this wild and beautiful place. The total time it takes to reach Machhermo is nearly 4 to 5 hours hike and overnight stay at Machhermo a beautiful village.

You depart Machhermo after breakfast, following a well-defined trail that climbs gently through alpine meadows and past stone-walled pastures and chortens. As you ascend, the valley opens up dramatically. You will be treated to breath-taking views of Cho Oyu (8,188m), the sixth-highest mountain in the world, and the surrounding peaks. As you walk further the terrain becomes increasingly rugged and glacial. You will cross a few streams and walk alongside the Ngozumpa Glacier- the longest glacier in the Himalayas.

Before reaching Gokyo, you will pass a series of turquoise glacial lakes. The third lake, Dudh Pokhari, sits beside the village of Gokyo and is especially mesmerizing. Gokyo village is a small cluster of lodges nestled beside the lake, with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. After lunch, you can relax by the lake or take a short acclimatization walk. For those feeling energetic, a sunset hike up Gokyo Ri (5,357m) offers one of the best panoramic views in the entire Everest region-including Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu. The total time to reach at Gokyo is around 5 to 6 hours trek from Machhermo.

The morning starts early-ideally before sunrise to catch the golden light on Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu. The uphill ascent takes around 2 to 3 hours hike, depending on pace and acclimatization. It’s a steep zigzagging trail over rocky terrain, but the views from the top are absolutely worth it. At the top of the Gokyo Ri, you will rewarded with one of the most iconic panoramas in the Himalayas-four of the world’s six highest peaks in one sweeping view. After soaking it all in, slowly descend back to Gokyo for late breakfast or early Lunch.

After resting and having late breakfast, and early lunch, begin your trek across the Ngozumpa Glacier, the longest glacier in Nepal. The crossing is surreal-an undulating path of ice, rock, and dust. The trail is well-marked but can be tricky, with loose stones and occasional icy patches. Trekking poles are helpful here. The walk to Thangnak takes nearly 2 to 3 hours, depending on condition and energy levels after the morning climb. Thangnak is a small settlement nestled beneath towering cliffs, serving as the staging point for the next day’s Cho La Pass crossing.

After 6 to 7 hours of trek you reaches at Thangnak. Rest and hydrate-this is a remote and high-altitude stop, so take it easy. Lodge are basic but cozy, and the atmosphere is quiet, with trekkers preparing for the big day ahead.

Crossing the Cho La Pass is one of the most exhilarating and challenging days on the Everest circuit. The early morning starts typically around 4:30 to 5:00 am to avoid strong winds and unstable conditions later in the day. The trail begins with a steep climb out of Thangnak, winding through rocky terrain and glacial debris. After about 2 to 3 hours, you will reach the base of the pass, where the real ascent begins a steep, icy climb that may require microspikes or crampons depending on conditions. The final push to the top involves navigating a snowy saddle with breath-taking views of Ama Dablam, Cholatse, and Lobuche peaks.

At Cho La Pass (5,420m) offers a dramatic panorama of the surrounding mountains and glaciers. Take a short break to hydrate and snap photos-but don’t linger too long, as the descent is just as demanding. The continue leads toward Dzongla, the descent begins with a tricky scramble down icy rocks and loose scree. Trekking poles are essential here. Once past the steep section, the trail levels out into a gentler path through yak pastures and alpine meadows. After 2 to 3 hours of descent, you will arrive in Dzongla-a quiet, scenic village nestled beneath the towering north face of Cholatse.

Spend night at lodges, here are basic lodges but welcoming, with stunning views of the surrounding peaks. Rest well-tomorrow’s trek toward Lobuche High Camp continues the adventure. The overall time it takes to arive at Dzongla is roughly 7 to 8 hours walked.

The day is for rest and pre-climbing training of Khumbu three peaks. During this training you will be taught by the skilled mountain guide about proper gear and equipment use and it’s important in the mountains, glacier travel and safety, self-arrest, and walking pace while climbing peak.

Depart Dzongla after breakfast, heading northeast along a rugged trail that skirts the base of Cholatse, which takes about 5 to 6 hours walk to reach at High Camp. The path gradually climbs through alpine meadows and rocky outcrops, offering dramatic views of Taboche and the Khumbu Glacier. As you gain altitude, the terrain becomes more barren and icy, with occasional snow patches depending on the season. The final stretch to High Camp is steep and exposed-pace yourself and stay hydrated.

The camp is a basic setup of tents or temporary shelters, perched on a rocky plateau with sweeping views of Lobuche East and West. This is your Launchpad for climbing Lobuche East (6,119m), so the afternoon is spent resting, hydrating, and preparing gear. Guides may conduct a final gear check and safety briefing, including rope techniques, crampon fitting, and summit strategy.

In the evening expect cold temperatures and thin air-layer up and eat well. Early go to bed is key, as summit pushes typically begin before midnight or in the early hours of the morning.

You will wake up early in the morning the main target is to summit push as much as soon possibly to victory the goal. The trail towards summit from high camp is steep up climb through the rocky terrain by climbing rock bellow crampon point then after climb by using crampon with proper climbing gear in fixed rope and before reaching summit you have to cross the crevasses section. After spending some precious moment at top of the Lobuche East Peak you slowly descend back to the high camp and after taking some rest with lunch or soup, you continue trek straight forward to the Lobuche Village. The overall time it takes nearly 10 to 12 hours by summit to reach Lobuche Village.

The trek from Lobuceh Village to Pokalde High Camp- a lesser- travelled but spectacular route that sets you up for summiting Pokalde Peak (5,806m). Begin your trek heading southeast from Lobuche, gradually ascending toward the Kongma La Pass trail. The Path is rugged along with rocky, exposed, remote, and less defined than the main Everest Base Camp route, so it’s best done with a guide. You will traverse rocky moraines and alpine terrain with stunning views of Nuptse, Makalu, and the Khumbu Glacier. After 2 hours of trek you will reach a fork near the Kongma La Pass (5,535m). From here, veer south toward Pokalde Base Camp, then continue climbing to High Camp.

The camp is perched on a rocky shelf with panoramic views of the Imja Valley and surrounding peaks. It’s a basic tented setup, used primarily by climbers preparing for Pokalde Peak. Spend the afternoon resting, hydrating, and reviewing gear. If weather permits, guides may offer a short scramble to preview the summit route. Expect cold, windy conditions layer up and eat a warm, energy-rich meal. Early to bed is essential, as summit pushes typically begin before dawn. The overal time it takes to reach at high camp is round 5 to 6 hours walked.

The early morning begin in darkness with headlamps, following a rocky trail that steepens quickly. The climb involves scrambling over boulders and navigating narrow ridgelines, depending on conditions, crampons and an ice axe may be necessary. It is non-technical BUT steep and exposed, requires basic mountaineering skills. The final section is a short but exposed rock scramble to the summit. From the top, enjoy panoramic views of Makalu, Ama Dablam, and the Imja Valley- an unforgettable reward.

After taking precious time at the summit top you slowly descend back to the high camp and having a brief rest at high camp, begin your descent toward Chukhung. The trail drops steeply at first, the levels out as you enter the Imja Valley. Expect 3 to 4 hours of trekking through glacial moraines, alpine meadows, and yak pastures. Along the way, you will pass beneath the towering faces of Nuptse and Lhotse, with Island Peak looming ahead.

The approximately 10 to 12 hours of trek you finally reach at Chukhung valley. Chukhung is a peaceful village nestled at the foot of Island Peak, popular with climbers and trekkers. Lodges here are comfortable, and the views are spectacular-perfect for resting after a summit day. Spend the evening relaxing, rehydrating, and reflecting on your achievement.

The day is a rest in Chukhung because you walked long hours yesterday so you might feel your body exhausted that’s why relax and rest properly. Today we will organize a short hike up to Chukhung Ri (5,546m from where you will enjoy looking at the breathtaking mountain vista of Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, Lhoste, Island Peak, Makalu, and several other iconic peaks.

After breakfast, you will trek from Chukhung down the valley towards the Island base camp. On the way to base camp, you will encounter the Imja Glacial, Imja Glacier, and Lhoste Shar Glacier. Continuing the trek across the rocky moraines you will eventually arrive at the Island Peak base camp and from the base enjoy the incredible panorama view of the southwestern face of Island Peak. Hike around the Imja Glacier Lake walking down towards Imja Lake from base camp. The overall time it takes around 5 to 6 hours hike you reaches at Base Camp.

Today is your summit day so wake up early around 2 am and have breakfast. Ensure you have a climber Sherpa guide with you to climb Island Peak. Get ready with your climbing gear and equipment on time. Island Peak climb involves navigating through snows, crevasses and vertical ascend in technical and challenging parts of snow and ice slopes. You will climb Island Peak’s steep vertical sections with the help of the fixed rope and crampons.

After reaching the summit you will get panorama views of several mountains including Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Lhoste, and Mt. Makalu. Take photos and videos from the top of Island Peak after spending a few minutes on the top descending to the high camp to overnight stay in Chukhung Village. The team will celebrate tonight for successfully competed your Khumbu Three Peaks in a single trip. The overall time it takes to summit and back to Chukhung Village roughly 10 to 12 hours.

After having breakfast you will start trekking downward to the Dingbuche from the Chukhung village, which takes nearly 3 to 4 hours trek down to Dingbuche. The trail continue leads you downward through the landscapes valley, snow-capped mountains, leaving alpine meadows, and beautiful Imja Glacier Lake, finally you reach at Dingboche where you will have rest and spend night in a cozy hotel.

Today you retrace back to Tengbuche from Dingboche following the Imja River and several other beautiful villages on the way down. After nearly 4 to 5 hours hike you reaches at Tengbuche village where you spend night.

Today’s trek will be up to Namche Bazar, whcih takes around 4 to 5 hours hike to reach at Namche Bazar. After having breakfast in a beautiful curd seeing the surrounded mountains the trek again continuously follow downward through the rhododendron forest and Juniper forest hillsides. After crossing the Dudh Khoshi Rivers you will descend rapidly through the pine forests sections.

Namche Bazar is the main trading town of the Everest region. Here you can find a variety of trekking, mountaineering shops, café, Pubs, restaurants, luxury hotels and lodges. So in the evening if you want to walk around the town and enjoy you’re lovely night in Namche Bazar.

The morning will start in the beautiful Sherpa village in Namche Bazar. After breakfast in the lodge, you will start your trek downward to the Lukla gateway of the Everest region, which takes 6 to 7 hours walks to reach at Lukla. Passing the Hillary Bridge and if you are a bungee lover do not miss out on the Everest Bungee on the old Hillary Bridge and experience the real thrilling adventure feeling.

You will cross the Bhote Khoshi multiple times while descending to Lukla. Passes through the Monju village which is the exit point of the Sagarmatha National Park and begins descending amidst rhododendrons, oak, and pine trees covering the much deeper forested trails. After long hours of trek crossing the Dudh Koshi River and several other villages, you will reach Lukla and visit Lukla enjoy you are tonight in Lukla.

Wake up early morning if you want to see the sunrise view in Mt. Kwangde Ri and after having breakfast catch the morning of Kathmandu. Enjoy your 35 minutes flight, aerial views and if there is clear weather you will see Mt. Everest including several other peaks. Once you reach Kathmandu take a rest and have a shower. If you want to visit Kathmandu city we recommend you visit Budhanatha Stupa, Bhaktapur, and Patan Durbar Square, and even if you want to buy souvenirs it will be the best place for you. Explore the city, shopping, massage spas, and yoga retreats.

Today is you are last day in Kathmandu Nepal and after having breakfast our team member will drop you at Tribhuvan International Airport in the official vehicle. Essential Information

Khumbu Three Peaks Difficulty

Three Peaks climbing is more challenging, technical, tough, and hard due to the steep rocky terrains, glaciers, and ice section. On the other because of the high altitude some people might get the altitudinal sickness symptoms so, do not panic take acclimatization rest, prepare well, and try again. Although to complete the Khumbu Three peaks climbing it takes about 4 weeks and it is suggested that the trekker should be determined and be physically fit in stamina, cardiovascular endurance, and strength. The trekking routes of the Everest region are up and down hilly sometimes, trekkers should trek through steep and rocky paths crossing rivers and waterfalls. Trekking trails are well-maintained and there are low chance of lost trekkers Likewise, if you have previous trekking and climbing experience then it will be easy to help you for successfully complete you are summit.

Altitude Sickness

Khumbu Three peaks climbing is technical and challenging and which are situated at an altitude of 6,189m, 6,119m and 5,806m respectively so of course there is a high chance of getting altitude sickness symptoms to people. However, be prepared to keep your body healthy fit, and fine in every situation. Do regular exercise related to cardiovascular, increase your walking levels, and boost your strength as well as join in wall and rock climbing training, run every day carrying a 10 kg bag drink plenty of water energy bars, and eat meals and seasonal fruits on time to keep your body healthy, strong and fresh. If you have done these all and have previous experience of trekking and climbing then it will help you to complete the Khumbu Three peaks climb. As a trekker or climbers, you obviously need to know knowledge about altitude sickness symptoms and their prevention while trekking, traveling, and expedition so, here we have mentioned the altitude sickness symptoms below they are as follows:-

AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) Symptoms

  • Vomiting, headache, fatigue/malaise, nausea, difficulty in breathing, dizziness, insomnia, loss of appetite, etc.

HACE (High Altitude Cerebral Edema) Symptoms

  • Several headaches, Weakness, loss of coordination, slurred speech, disorientation, memory loss, hallucinations (altered mental status) loss of consciousness, seizure, etc.

HAPE (High Altitude Pulmonary Edema) Symptoms

  • Dry cough, chest tightness or pain, cough, dyspnea at rest, decreased exercise tolerance, pink frothy, shortness of breath, etc.

Preventive Measures

  • Stay hydrated, ascend slowly, maintain your pace, listen to your body, get abundant rest, drink plenty of water using water purification tablets, eat carbohydrate-rich food, and do not drink alcohol or smoke while ascending and descent as soon as possible if the condition is worst.

The Best Time to Climb Peaks in Nepal

Nepal trekking best time is during the spring and autumn seasons due to clear weather which offers spectacular mountain vistas of the surrounding. In winter and monsoon seasons the Lukla flights are cancelled, so avoid trekking in this season because the weather will be cloudy, rainy, and snowy. Lodges, teahouses, and hotels are well maintained with good quality services and luxury accommodations facilities with proper meals as per the tourist's requirements. Rooms are available as per the need such as single rooms with attached bathrooms, twin beds with attached bathrooms, and couple beds with attached bathrooms. Overall the Western-style toilets are facilities available for trekkers even if you want shared bathrooms that are also available in warm hospitality services which makes you feel like you are at home. Spend the night in lodges, teahouses, or hotels as per you’re choices. While trek carry all toiletries with you including toilet paper for you are personal healthcare.
