Female Trekking Guide
Khendu Sherpa

It’s me, Khendu Sherpa, a female trekking guide from the southeast part of Nepal, Sindhupalchok district. I have been working as a female guide since 2024; apart from that, I am a student of bachelor's in mountaineering studies at Nepal Mountain Academy in the capital city of Kathmandu, Nepal. Additionally, I climbed 6,000 above peaks, Mera Peak (6,474m) and Lobuche East Peak (6,119m), in October 2024. I am an adventurous person and love to do and engage in outdoor activities. As well as my main contribution to the tourism industry, I promote Nepal tourism through the diverse community cultures, languages, costumes, heritage sites, and the area's terrain, geography, flora, and fauna for the sustainable development of the tourism destinations.
