Today you walk along the bank of the Marsyangdingdi River through lovely pine forestss to Talekhu,, which s at an altitude of 2,720 meters, and and Bhratang,, 2,850 meters above sea level. After crossing a bend to the rocky trail with the with the natural sound of the riveriver and mountain’s view, you will continue to to cross back to the south bank of the Marsyangdi via a suspensionon bridge before reachinging Swarga Dwari (Gate to Heaven),, and then after a longng walk and climb over a ridge again, you will, you will have to trek through blue pine forests to the Dhukur Pokhar. The trail to Pinsang is a sandydy and flat trail.

The summit day begins early in the morning, nearly 2/3 am, in the dark stars light. On the summit day, you have to climb steeply up to a col at 5,500 meters high camp. From high camp you see the magnificent summit ridge ahead of you, and climbing routes are usually steep, and your climbing Sherpa mountain guide will fix ropes on the steeper sections. After hours of climbing effort, you reach the summit of the Chulu Far East, 6,059 meters above sea level, which rewards you with splendid views from the top of the summit, including Gangapurna, the Annapurna ranges, Manaslu to your left, and Tibet to your back. After a successful summit of Chulu Far East, you descend down to high camp, and after having a rest and taking lunch, you continue back down to the Yak Kharka to spend the night.

How difficult/hard is the Chulu Far East trekking peak climbing for climbers?

The Chulu Far East Peak climb consists of an easier peak compared to other 6,000-meter-high peaks in Nepal, and there is a 100% success rate of summit. It is the most straightforward of all. So Chulu Far East Peak is not challenging and risky because of crevasses and serac fall, but it requires basic mountaineering skills, good physical fitness, strength, endurance, knowledge of using mountaineering equipment, and mental health, as well as preparedness for all climbing.

Altitude Sickness

The Chulu Far East trekking peak climbing is situated at an elevation of 6,059 meters above sea level. So of course there is a high chance of getting altitude sickness symptoms for you. However, be prepared to keep your body healthy, fit, and fine in every situation. Do regular exercise related to cardiovascular, increase your walking levels, and boost your strength, as well as run every day carrying a 10 kg bag.   • HAPE (High Altitude Pulmonary Edema) Symptoms: dry cough, chest tightness or pain, cough, dyspnea at rest, decreased exercise tolerance, pink froth, shortness of breath, etc.
  • Preventive Measures: Stay hydrated, ascend slowly, maintain your pace, listen to your body, get abundant rest, drink plenty of water using water purification tablets, eat carbohydrate-rich food, and do not drink alcohol or smoke while ascending, and descend as soon as possible if the condition is worse.

Accommodation & food during the trek

On this 15-day Chulu Far East Trekking Peak Climbing, at first, on arrival and departure day, you will spend the night at a 3-star hotel; likewise, during yourtrekking peak climbing period, you will spend the night at teahouses, lodges, and hotels. Lodges, teahouses, and hotels are well maintained with good quality services and luxury accommodations facilities with proper meals as per the requirements. The Chulu Far East is one of the most popular peak climbs in the Annapurna region, and it is not technical, challenging, or hard, and there is not much risk of falling into crevasses, but even though it is not difficult, you are required to have basic mountaineering skills, physical fitness, strength, and endurance, and you must be prepared for peak climbing, as well as have knowledge about weather, areas, and trekking peak climbing. 

Chulu Far East lies at an altitude of 6,059 meters above sea level, and it is located in the Annapurna region of north-central Nepal in the Manang district.

It takes 15 days to complete entry packages, and it is one of the off-the-beaten or less crowded trails among the Annapurna Circuit Trek.

To climb Chulu Far East peak, especially in the spring season from March to May and in the autumn season from September to November, these are the prime seasons for peak climbing. During these times you will get clear blue skies with stable weather, climate, and the temperature of the destinations.
